Service Policies

Do I need to give a deposit?

YES: A deposit of 50% of the total project cost is generally required before starting most graphic work. Client is required to pay full balance on the completion of the work. A portion of the deposit for design work is non-refundable. If any phase of the project is delayed for longer than 60 days, we will bill for work already completed.

Can I make changes to the design?

YES: At Neatworks, each client can make two major changes to the design once the major concept is approved. Additional changes can also be made upon request and will be billed at a low rate of $50.00 per hour.

Will I have ownership and copyright of the work?

YES: Once full payment for the project has been received, Neatworks Inc. turns over full ownership and copyright of the work to the client.

All original materials Including source files, original artwork, electronic files, photographic film, Including transparencies and negatives remain the property of NeatWorks Inc. except where agreement is made by client to pay for the above mentioned material. All ideas and concepts not used remain the property of NeatWorks Inc.. and may be used in the future, as they deem appropriate.

Is there more than one payment option available?

YES: To make it convenient, we accept payment in cash, money orders, cashiers check, business or personal checks. Returned checks will attract a $30.00 fee. Invoices unpaid after 10 days from date of invoice are subject to a late payment charge of 2% every 30 days.

NeatWorks Inc. will not be responsible if delivery is impacted by an act of God, weather, electrical failure, and airline or courier service delays. NeatWorks Inc. will make every attempt to complete and ship customer’s job on schedule.

Does it cost more if the job requires a very tight deadline?

YES: There are times when projects absolutely need to be completed on a very short deadline. This is called an “express job” and because it requires additional resources outside our control, it will be billed at an additional 25% of total cost. All customers are notified by NeatWorks Inc. if the job has been classified as an express job and will be required to give further instructions before NeatWorks Inc. proceeds with job.

Will I need to proof read the text and copy of the work?

YES: All customers are responsible for proof reading all text material before submission to NeatWorks Inc.. Carefully proofread before giving a go-ahead on printing. NeatWorks Inc. does not proofread text material submitted to us. The purpose of a proof is to eliminate errors or dissatisfaction. Your signature or permission indicates approval and responsibility for any charges to re-make or change a job in the event that you approved on a proof that contained an error;(yours or ours) Including spelling errors. We also require additional time to re-do your job and this will affect the due date. Changes must be made in person, faxed, or emailed. NeatWorks Inc. will not be responsible for any original material left after job is complete so make sure you make copies of pictures, discs etc.

Will my information be kept confidential?

YES: Yes. NeatWorks Inc will never share or sell your personal information.

Are the project estimates free?

YES: Yes. All project estimates are absolutely free. There is no obligation associated with a service request or project estimate.
